I've been having an issue where my car (955/05) reports that my rear hatch (just the glass) is open, and it causes a warning sound every time I start driving.
I tried opening the rear hatch (just the glass) and closing it solidly with no success. I can't find any switch back there or do I have to replace the complete lock?
Does anyone have any advice on resolving this?

 

My '06 used to do this. Really slam it closed. Then never open it again.

I had the issue a few years ago . There is a little micro switch in the locking mechanism. There was obvious wear on the plastic bit that activates the switch. I managed to break the little metal strip on the micro switch while trying to adjust it. Anyway I just locked the switch in a permanently closed position with some tape. Haven't had a problem since.
