Cayenne tiptronic issue
Cayenne tiptronic issue
Hello!
im having issues with my cayenne 955 tiptronic gearbox..
Everything is super smooth and fine, but when im accelerating in 5th or 6th gear, the car downshifts into 2nd gear snd with a loud bang/clunk. It feels like im going to loose my tranny.
Other times it downshifts into 3rd and then its all fine.
i have replaced the oil and filter few times now.. Was just hoping that it will do the trick, but apparantly no.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Valve body?

Also this only happens when gearbox oil has reached its working temperature.
Clunking downshift usually appears while driving in low rpm 1100-1200 ( sometimes little bit higher).. accelerating while in low rpm (gear 5 and 6) the car hesitates and then clunk appears. And by accelerating i mean you floor the gas pedal. Accelerating smoothly then the car wont downshift lower than 3rd gear and is smooth.
If i manually downshift then all works smoothly again...
