Anyone has/had issues with their Cayenne S shifting? during up shift when it gets to 3rd and 4th gear (mainly 3rd) the shifting feels weird and seems like transmission skipping but then becomes fine at higher gears (5+). I have only 70k miles on it. My car runs great and no warning signs, and actually just got serviced at the Porsche dealership last month - and they couldn't find anything. just wondering if anyone had that issue before

 

The year of your car would help. There have been some owners of newer ones complaining about 3rd gear issues but different than yours. Could be the valve body going too but, at least on mine, that usually presents as an issue when downshifting. Try driving in 5th gear about 50mph and floor it. If the it's the valve body you'll know it right away.


The other thing I'd say is when was the last time the fluid and filter were changed? I haven't heard of it too often on these cars but it's amazing how many people have issues with other auto transmissions and find out it's either old, bad fluid or low fluid level.
