Swapping a 957 GTS engine into a 957 S

So my 2008 957 S has the dreaded cylinder scoring. I have sourced a low mileage engine from a 2009 GTS for a good price. From my research I have found that the intake manifold and throttle body are different between the S and GTS and also someone mentioned the intake camshafts may have a different profile? Can anyone chime in on this?

My thought is to install the GTS engine and get a tune from somewhere like EVOMS for the GTS engine and flash it onto my S ecm. I would rather go this route if I can instead of swapping out all of the parts that differ between the 2 engines.
If any one has any info or advice on this I'm all ears

I never heard that there was any differentiating features between the two engines other than tuning
