If you do it, I probably wouldnt do the bypass pipes too because it would be extremely loud.

The only thing I was worried about when I did it was losing backpressure, but it seems like the power wasnt that far off, especially after I did my ECU flash.

If you do have AWE do it, or someone else, make sure of one thing. After doing my first muffler delete on this truck, I learned that when they BEND the pipes to make them replace the muffler, make sure they bend them UP as much as they can without hitting the heat shield. I say this because the muffler on the CT is exposed, and when it is taken out and replaced by two small pipes, if they arent bent up, they look like they are dangling very bad. So when they cut the muffler off, make sure the bypass pipes are bent up a good amount so they tuck up a little bit instead of hanging down and flat. Also, make sure they line them up good with your tips. You will see what Im talking about if you look at it.

Lastly, for noise, under extreme load, it was loud as ****. Cruising around it was semi minimal and under normal acceleration it seemed about as loud as a Borla exhaust on an American V8 truck. But onceyour at speed, the drone in the cabin is slim to none. But like I said, if you want it loud under full throttle, this is the way to go. Also, it brings out the turbo whistles quite nicely.

Anyways, ill see if i cant drag up some shots I have of my old exhausts.

Good info!
Thanks man.
