CTT vs JeepSRT8
As far as pictures above of the Jeep - The changes are not radical by ANY means from a regular Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee, looks about the same except it looks "front heavy" with the lower bumper valence. It looks like a Jeep - whether it is Black or Orange or Purple. Most cars in black look mean, especially all blacked out. You gatta do better than that to convince me.

Overall performance is where the Cayenne takes over.. its not about straight line acceleration here, were talking about SUV's meaning Sport Utility Vehicle.. I think the SRT8 and the ML63 is missing the "U"..imo
I think the only Cayenne Turbo competition is the G55....
For a second, I thought this was the 997turbo vs. Z06 thread

I'm a little late here....but I will throw my .02cents in also....
I have a modded CTT and catch nothing but flack from my buddy in his SRT8 Grand Cherokee.....Especially b/c my 1st 2 cars were GC's. When we out out and "played" it was very close.....On the highway...the CTT had a clear advantage and he couldnt get passed me.....From a dead stop is somewhat of a different story....the low end torque on the SRT8 is VERY nice and pops that car right off the line.....BUT....as we all know the CTT (after about 2 secs of delay) explodes and starts rocketing to 60+ so he would end up about 1/2 car length in front of me until I get to his front door around 60 and pass him around 80 with him around my front door....from a slower roll 30 or 60....the CTT had it.....We dont have any vids of this but im looking for another SRT8 to run with......Dont get me wrong though....I LOVE the SRT8 and probably will own a 2nd generation model (no more bugs) both of these SUV's are amazing...like everyone has said...it depends what your going to be using it for....I would rather do long drives, 2+ hours in a CTT....but rather run errands around town in the SRT8....
As it turns out...my buddy had nothing but problems with his srt8 and ended up getting rid of it.....radiator fan and a ton of electrical BS....according to a tech at DCX...the SRT8's were rushed( to take away some of the CTT's thunder) and therefore lost alot of valuable testing time.....I have also heard other SRT8 owners complain about problems....
My little brother drives a 05 Grand Cherokee limited 5.7L...and has followed in my footsteps when it comes to mods.....eventually I plan on adding a supercharger(already released) or potentially a turbo when hes ready to get a new car and this one becomes mine....Heres a few pics of his jeep:
I got him the SRT8 front bumper/side skirts (custom painted cayenne aluminum color grilles)
HID kit, Bell radar/diffuser, full system w/Tv's, Air intake/Exhaust/Chip stage2, 20inch black winter wheels (not shown) and prob some other stuff i am forgetting.....either way i love it and wont let him trade it in for his next car.....

And my CTT with Habitat's victors that he sold......

great response,i agree, I would rather drive a long trip in the CTT, but for ridin around town, I love the SRT8. Ill have some pics up of mine tonight, i had to buy another digitalcamera. And January 17th, me and my godfather, Hurley Haywood, are going to Gainesville and running the 1/4 mile. He has a cayenne Turbo S, and I will be running my Jeep, just to settle things, because we talk a lot of smack to each other. Just hope I don't have my heads and cams by then
