So, you're pleased with the EVO's? I have heard people say they are good, but no rave review; however, it is true that If you buy a set of BMC's you lready met 25% of the cost of the EVO setup.

Did you have BMC before you did the EVO or did you go straight to EVO?

Someone with experience moving to EVO straight from just BMC with no additional changes would be a great service to this forum- real experience v. marketing.

BMCAirFilters.com states the following is a distributor closest to you:

http://www.potenzadigitale.com.mx/

However, I am sure one of our wonderful sponsors will ship it to you.

Had K&N filters first - then switched to the Evo intakes because even though they released the info about their product they were far from ready to release it last January -So I was driving around about 8 months with the K&N's and I REALLY did feel a significant difference - no B.S., and it sounds very cool to me too when you step on the throttle.

As far as if it would be as significant for an S, I can't say.

I have also made the change from K&N replacement filters to the EVO intakes and am completely satisfied. Without factoring the sound ammenities it provides, the spool up is definitely improved.

I then had the EVO cat-bypass pipes installed after testing the intakes first on a road test and noticed even more opening up in terms of the turbo's need to facilitate airflow.

The combination of the two above parts made me more enthusiastic about the car, but kinda pissed off the wife due to more 'noises'.

I had the reverse approach with my shorty.
I added bypass pipes first (diverter valves and GIAC) - she didn't even notice. Then I added a Cargraphic sport exhaust BEFORE the Evo CAIs. The muffler covered up the added "noise" from the CAI's! She was so irritated about the added muffler sound and then so pleased when I removed it that she didn't pay any attention to the Evo intakes .

Nice approach and good strategy on "compromising"...

She has finally accepted the changes. Now all I need is the flash for performance upgrades.

Freakin' snow in Colorado has been a pain in the **** preventing cosmetic upgrades to install. Oh well, in do time!

Don't complain - I would be tearing up the slopes snowboarding and skiing and putting any Cayenne thoughts on hold.

Here it is just Tundra Cold with no real winter sports to enjoy
