I may get one, because I just ordered a Red 8GB Special edition Ipod Nano with MeanMachine engraving, But Ive heard from someone that there is a jack input in the glove box where you can buy a audi input wire from any home depot store and play your tunes throught it by selecting Aux on on the PCM, I dont think I have the Aux enabled because when I ordered my Cayenne S, I didnt select the TV tuner option which adds the ability of using aux; Hopefully tommorow I will check on the jack input and the dension kit.

 

i'd love some more info on what audio cable you are talking about..

 

Its the one that fits into the Ipod.

Works well, sound and control is great, switch playlists from steering wheel!!! Tags display ok, but sometime playlist and tracks switch with delay, don know why, may be we used old NANO - manual notify about last firmware in Ipod. Installation not so difficult, but I think you should be skilled in cayenne and electronics to install this unit. You can hide unit in the trunk on your choice - if f you have CD changer or amplifier installed, or cd changer pre-wiring. You can connect power on changer or amplifier connector and behind PCM also.

 

cool going via the CD Changer will be the easiest thing to do.

as for price I got my unit for under $500 shipped.

tried it, cant be possible with my Cayenne S; because I didnt option for the Tv Tuner which comes with audio inputs in the glovebox, A friends Ctt has the Tv tuner and he can use the method I stated above through the Aux function to listen to tracks.

Any body know where I can get the Dension Ipod Kit for the Cayenne?
And any instructions how to install it ?

I did see a lot of tv tuners in Cayenne (European, 2005+) and never seen aux AUDIO input, as posibilities in tv tuner/pcm/etc. coding, only possible to switch on aux AV input. Does anyone have original tv tuner installed in American Cayenne?
