Springs on Cayenne S
Springs on Cayenne S
I have the champion lowering springs but they are too stiff for me with my 22's on the car. So this car shop said they could "cut off" a bit of the stock springs to bring the car lower while maintaining some comfort. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!
Don't cut the springs on the S as it will just make the ride more unstable and harsher. It is not worth the risk of having somethign happen to save a bit of money. The ride shoudl nto be that bad with the lowering springs and 22s on. I have riden in both an HR and TechArt lowered cars with 22s with no issues.

The Turbo has the airmatic. To lower that you need either a suspension ecu or lowering links for the angle sensors. So long story short, no springs. Hope this helps.

I agree with everyone else, it is NOT a good idea to cut the springs... I have cut stock springs before and the ride is not good... It's much better to be a little stiff than too bouncy.
A buddy of mine just cut his Eibach springs and I really can't tell the difference. I have the Eibach's as well and I will be cutting mine next week. Honestly, I really couldn't tell the difference.
i have eibach springs now. i am thinking of cutting them also. how many coils did you cut off?
