Question LED bulbs in rear license plate lights?

So I got a pair of LED bulbs for the rear license plate lights and this is what happened. When I have BOTH LED bulbs installed at the same time, the bulbs don't work and I get the warning signal at the dash. However, if I replace one of the LED bulbs with a regular one (meaning I have 1 LED and 1 normal on the car), both connect bulbs work perfectly. WTF? Works when I have one of each but won't work when I have both LED bulbs connected...

Here are the bulbs I got http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-22502.cfm

You are underestimating the level of detail in the self test diagnostics on the Cayenne. The impedance of LED lighting is different from regular bulbs, 2 obviously puts it out of acceptable range.

LED use less power so the car thinks the regular bulbs are out....

you can probably fake out the sensor by adding an appropriately sized resistor in series

Got a reply from the store saying that I need a load resistor... so instead of going through all that hassle, I'm just gonna replace them with white bulbs.

Thinking of getting these: http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-2067.cfm

However, I noticed that the wattage on these bulbs are 10W while the OEM stock one is 5W. Is this safe? Will the connector burn/melt because of the higher wattage? Please advice. Thank you.
