Got my Cayenne TTS last night....

Sorry no pics, it was late, dark and then I had to come to work today so no chance for photos. I will asap though. Took it for a quick drive, seems to be pretty quick for a 5,000+ lbs vehicle. I didn't get on it too much but from what I felt it seemed strong. Do I really have to wait 2,000 miles before I start getting on it? That seems too long. It felt lighter and seemed to handle better than the '05 CTT I test drove a few months back. Seemed to have less lag as well. When the driver went to take it off the truck, I couldn't wait to hear it rumble. To my surprise, it didn't rumble!! Not only that, it barely made any sound whatsoever!! I got in it, left the door open and revved it and could barely hear it. What a dissapointment. So with that, what do I do? Fabspeed Bypass pipes or Tubi exhaust? Will the by pass pipes help enough? Do I still need the by pass pipes if I get the Tubi? I am hearing conflicting info about the fabspeed pipes, so what is the deal? I will order them today if they make that much of a difference.
Details from what I can remember are, '06 Cayenne TTS, 25 miles on Odo, Marine Blue Metallic, Sand Beige Interior, Panoramic Roof, Sirius, Light Wood Pkg, Phone Module, Roll up Sunshades...can't remember anything else. I have clear sides coming and a silver hood/bumper crest. When they come in I am having my windows tinted and having the taillights and clear side markers lightly smoked. Should look pretty good. I have my wheel guy looking into some 22" Rinspeeds as well but will probably wait a couple of months to do that.
I will get pics up asap............

For the break in don't free rev it.

However, once it is warmed up and travelling, you can go higher on the revs (5.5 or so) for short periods of time. Doing so seems to seal everything up better.

Just don't hold high revs for long periods of time. And change the oil after about 1.5-2K. These engines are about 85% broken in already from what I hear.

Congrats, o nthe new truck ...the color combo sound great. I would love to have the pano roof. Break it in right, and don't be suprised if it uses a bit of oil for the first (10 to 15k mi) Many turbo's think they are "Lawn-boys" until their mid teens and then they outgrow the oil habit. Enjoy

Nice bro! I can't wait to see/ride in it I would look into the Tubi exhaust. From what I have heard they make a very nice system. Since you are used to the RUF stuff I would say the fit and finish is about on par with anything RUF makes. Also the tips are awesome looking too... Give me a shout this weekend if you are going to be driving around.

Drove it to work today, WOW!! this is one powerful SUV. Taking it easy not exceeding 3500rpm's and it was moving...80...90..100mph and it was not evening breathing. I am glad I made this move, I am very impressed. I will try and take some pics but it is below zero outside with the wind chill here in NY and tomorrow it is supposed to snow.
Alan, thanks and I will see if I can make it to meet up. This thing is pretty sweet. I think I have found my exhaust.......Cargraphic. Sounds insane, Go to the link---------------------> and listen.........

A Cayenne in all seasons in the snow is dangerous from what I have been told. Luckily we are only supposed to get .5" in Southern Westchester. Next year if we have real snow you will want to buy a snow wheel & tire set like the rest of us northerners.

That is what the stock techno sports are for , Next winter they will get the snow tires. I will be taking my X5 tomorrow, I can't subject this car to the elements yet.

I love your comment..."should look pretty good"
F that! It is going to look Uber-Good!
Post pics when you have it finished to your liking, otherwise I am going to vote that you get banned!

Hopefully you got a good deal. I was pricing the same car with your options exactly, plus back-up camera, for $97,680.00 (25K off of list) in Titanium/Black, but my trade wouldn't have made sense right now. So I will drive my car until warranty expires 6yr/100K and go with the new facelifted TT.

But to me the TTS is a more "preferred" car, for the brake package alone, not to mention the limited number available, and the "S" elite designation.

Evo CAI intakes, plenum changeout, Cat bypass pipes, and you will have the fastest SUV on the planet.

Sorry about not getting pics up yet, I have only driven it once since I got it. It snowed last night and today and has been near zero outside. Not really the oppurtune time to go spend time outside taking pics. I promise pics will come this weekend, it will really be my only time to take some. In the mean time my clear side markers came in today and the silver badge hopefully tomorrow. With that, it is going to my body/paint guy early next week to get the clears and tails smoked and bagde put on. Then tint and Cargraphic exhaust, which sounds like an offshore power boat. I don't know if the Evo Intake will void my warranty so I might wait on that and the DV's.
