Fuse - keeps blowing
Fuse - keeps blowing
Hi Folks - My power sockets quit working so I took a look at the #1 20amp fuse and sure enough, it had popped. I removed and replaced with one of the 20amp spares and it popped right as I pushed it in. Ignition was off, key was out and nothing was plugged into the sockets. Any ideas before I take it in and waste a couple of hours at the dealership?

not depend from key
power always present on sockets. check all of them - 2 or 3 at front, 1 or 2 @ rear console and 1 or 2 @ trunk - put some in out few times witout fuse inserted. I think one of them broken, can easy fix youself, or simple disconnect bad one.

5speed is right. There is a short somewhere in your electrical system. That kind of thing should be covered by warranty. Make sure nothing is wedged in the sockets, and then take it in. Isolating a short in a complex system is a long, frustrating, fury-inducing process; let someone else do it.
