Pano Roof and Roof Rails...

u'll find out when u give it a try. not off a lot but Germany engineering is about precision. i know u won't give up til u play with it.

i agree. i didn't want the pano but nor i want to wait for the car. i thought the rails would fit cuz the car looks better with it. too bad it didn't.

G,
i thought i took some pics but couldn't find them in my work computer. went home to check actually found them. since u asked there u go. u can tell how they're different. i also marked in red so u can compare them easier. hope this helps a little.

Arling, thank you for the pics!!! That does show quite a difference in the tracks. The rails are already on there way so I will see what I or my body guy can do. If not I will just return them and get the Transport bars, they are cheaper anyway. I appreciate your efforts with this!!

and daaaaamn the look iffiiiin Good ;P and the pano works fine open close fine but the problem is am not sure if it would still be working fine or would break after a while now am thinkin should i put them on on my own risk or stick with being roofless
I had gotten the rails and tried to put them on, no go. I wound up returning them and got the transport bars. I think I like how the TB's look better than the rails now that I have them. Where did you see that the rails would fit? There is no way that I could see, they are too long.
I am not sure how those were put on but I tried it with my own hands and there was no way they were fitting. Just as Arling posted above, the rails were way too long and did not line up where the mounting points were. Amazing that these were put on, I would like to see how it was done.
i was like u griza i went to the dealer ship tried them ddnt fit cuz of the slots not going well and sumthing like that and we i went 2 my friends i tryed his used ones for fun the fitted fine and everything was ok and after seeing these pix am gonaa get them cuz daamn they look go0D am gonna be his used rails and paint them and they would look just like new ;D
