They're the guys that said mine was "normal" also - can anyone CONFIRM on their S that this is not the case? Driving me nuts since I swear mine wasn't there when I got it...sigh. Pics would be awesome...TIA!

my S has it as well. I believe it is normal. I am getting my cluster replaced for other reasons though (digital readout of speed is burning out and dissapears) so whenever they get around to getting it and installing it...Ill be able to check on a new one. But as for mine S, its been there.

I was given an '06 Cayenne from my dealer as a loaner today; that car also has the line (3.5k miles on the clock).

Had my cluster replaced due to the trip not reseting, the new one does have the same line as the old one, also, It might just be me but, I feel like the new needles are a brighter red.
