05 CTT Drivabilty issues

I have a problem w/my 05 CTT that the dealer can't seem to find or fix. Sometime it goes like a banshee, as it's supposed to...but 75% of the time it feels flat with no bottom end torque. In addition, the new trans software they loaded last visit sucks because now if you floor it it hesitates, then downshifts abrubtly into 1st, and then goes. The lag/pause is enough to almost get you killed. The other thing it does is right after making a sharp turn, i.e making a right into a side street, you get back on the throttle and.....nothing. No power, no downshift, just flat. Has anyone had any similar issues and what was done to fix. This is a basically stock CTT. Please help! They've had the car for a full week and they don't know what else to do. They have checked and or replaced the coils, and they claim to have new software on it's way from Germany. Couyld the no power after turning be something w/the yaw sensor?

You need an ECU re-flash. The current software that is provided stock, is not very good...

The hesitation on trottle I agree is dangerous, very "all or nothing" I am sure this should help out your issue..

if your dealer can't resolve it for you, try another dealer (which dealer? if you don't mind posting) I have a couple friends at dealerships out there. or call 800.PORSCHE (767.7243) and they will contact the dist. rep and im sure they'd get it resolved with your current dealership (if you want to stay there)

Is there a GIAC dealer in the chicagoland area anyone would recommmend? Any issues I would need to know? Any warranty issues? Fuel mileage? This is a last resort, they should know enough to be able to fix this thing. The service on this is just as crappy as I had w/my Touaregs, but since they are almost the same vehicle it makes sense....They have had my vehicle since last monday am and they still have it.

The GIAC tune will void your warranty if found by dealer FYI.

Read the FAQ too:

Its a risk to put aftermarket software in but the benefits are very large.

I can't afford to void my warranty on a 95K vehicle...(and quite frankly you've got to be rolling in it to take that chance IMHO) Porsche should be able to fix their own vehicles. I'm sure the GIAC flash is nice, but can't take the chance if something were to happen. I have warranty thru 2011 and 110,000 miles so....I only have 32K on my CTT...thanks anyway

Has anyone else had this problem and what did the dealer do to fix it? Any additional insight would be helpful. Thanks
