Anyway to make the ride smoother on a '06 V6?

Future mother-in-law is contemplating selling her '06 V6 because the ride is too stiff. It isn't so much normal driving but rather when crossing rough pavement or railroad tracks. She has the 18" wheels with Scorpion Zero tires and steel suspension. Compared to my fiancees Touareg or my Q7 you do notice a difference, it really beats you around. I know Porsche designed the Cayenne to be a "sport" utility where people would want to drive it in a spirited manner but in this case she just wants a slightly smoother ride.

Is there anything she can do short of selling it and getting something else?

Thanks.

Go with a 17 inch rim and a tire with more sidewall.

Buy her a Cadillac, or trade for one with air suspension.

My car is equipt exactly the same way, and I never found the ride to be an issue.

We have a brand new 08 Cayenne with 17's. The ride is very soft. However, I do prefer the look of the larger wheel. You want to trade?

It's a Vette... It's not supposed to be a supple ride.
