Anyone from Northern Virginia can help me?

Hello.
I recently made a post about the accident on highway. (Cayenne S)
Well it appears to be that the problem is rather bigger...
It penetrated the front grill and it went through the wires.
I am trying to fix it soon but I got a question.
I bought a car from Porsche of Tysons (HBL) and I was curious if it's smart thing to go through the bodyshop through the dealer.
I remember them saying that hey own their own bodyshop specifically for porsches, not like other dealers that redirect to local bodyshop. Is this true for all the porsche dealer?

As far as going through the insurance that I mentioned in other thread, I think I have to go through the insurance but like always, quality > $.
If anyone knows a GOOD bodyshop in northern virginia, can I please get some information?

Thank you! (There isn't regional forum so I just posted here)

Sorry to hear about your accident, hopefully everyone is alright.
Its true that HBL is the only local Porsche dealer that has their own bodyshop.
I had an accident about a year ago, and I took my car to Wagon Work Collsions, located on Route 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway), Alexandria, right after crystal city.
I have been sent there by Audi of Alexandria, because they dont have their own Bodyshop.
I must also add that they are specialized in Audi, Mercedes, BMW, and other German automakers. You would see that there are fair amount of nice cars, A8, 750li, M3's, more than one RS6 at a time, etc...
I was impressed by the work done and would recommend that you go there. As far as the price, i am not sure what the difference would be compared to HBL.
Good luck!

It is definetly one of the best in the area. I am considering taking my S4 back to them for door panel paint, its chrome and i want it to be black.

don't go to hbl, they'll charge you like crazy.

You can go through the insurance company. All they do is provide you with an estimate and give you the money for that estimated amount. You can then use that money at any body shop you want.

That's what happened when i got a dent on my cayenne. They paid me $600 and I went to a good body shop and paid a little extra.

So that's always an option...

Verify with your insurance company, may vary between companies
