Hi all,
First time to post here, I just ordered 2011 V6. Just wonder to pick the option of sport exhaust coz I like to hear more engine sound and the cool outlook As I search many post seems no any buddies have choose this option, any advise of this option? Will affect the performance much as I just ordered 3.6? Thanks All!

From my understanding, it's sounds only. You're better off getting cat delete pipes.

I don't think it would work with V6. I have it installed on my 2011 Cayenne S. It's not just installing the exhaust - it involves some electronic and reprogramming the Cayenne PCM. Check with the Porsche dealer whether the program code works for V6

 

From what I hear the sport exhaust is not much louder than the factory exhausts considering how much it costs. I would look into purchasing an aftermarket system...

 

Idont think so, factory sport exhaust system is very loud.

 

+1 yes my car has sport exhaust and guys its very very very loud when the sport button is engaged ,, + sorry but after market exhaust doesn't even come close to what the sport exhaust tone sound ,, + you have your valve you can open it and close it whenever you want ,, also the valves opens after 4000 rpm worth every penny ,, also you get the look of the turbo tail pipes .. no cabin noise on low rpm's ,, its a great option ..

I absolutely agree with you!!! It's a MUST HAVE option to any Cayenne S owner.

sounds great! Wonder what it sounds like on the V6.

Still tough to justify $3k for an exhasut that adds no power, IMO.
