On the multi function display, I select time/temp display under vehicle/display/lower line. On all the screens the lower part shows the time/temp at all time, except on the map screen where it only shows up sporadically.

I don't think I hit any buttons to disable the time/temp display on the map screen, but when it's gone most of the time it comes back the next day.

Does anyone else have this problem? I asked my dealer but they couldn't figure out what the problem is.

My vehicle is a 2011 May build with PCM.

I don't think it's a problem. If you notice, the map often times takes the up entire MF display, therefore both the top and bottom fixed display on the MF screen disappear. Not sure why it sometimes shows/doesn't show, as I hide the map from the available views so rarely notice it anymore.

 

Attached a photo of the dash map display with the time/temp readout at the bottom.

I think I figured how what triggers whether the time/temp appears at the bottom of the map screen. When a warning icon appears (like low fuel, or additional key detected), the time/temp appears. But when there's no warning icon, the time/temp doesn't show up.

This seems like a software bug. I'm on v2.4.
