So here was my day yesterday....

Driving along at 75 mph, car starts to putter.... As if it's giving out and about to loose power...
After than when trying to accelerate no acceleration, and when at 5,000 RPM car acts as if it's maxed out and sputtering like it would if red lined....

No power

Stop the car and turn off, then turn back on..,

Takes about 2 seconds to crank and finally turn over. But then does. Seems like something's wrong for sure...

As I pull away, red light engine, reduced power light... Oh great.

Trying to accelerate it takes about 15 seconds to get to 50 mph.

Driving straight to dealership.....

They think it's a fuel pump issue the engine one not the tank one, we'll see.

So they are fixing that,
When reversing car screen wa blank, so they'll look into that.

Fixing ac problem about air messing with sensor.

Programing rectangular lights to turn on with day time driving lights,

Fixing scratches they made the last time it was in,

Performing 10,000 mile oil change free of charge obviously...

Hmmm what else...
Think that's all for now.....

Not the best day yesterday....

They did give me a basic optioned panamera S, not bad, but not equal to my CTT optioned the way I have it in any way, oh well....

EDIT: forgot to add, I got a 75.00 parking ticket for NOT having a front plate attached to the car while I was parallel parked having lunch.....
Luckily, a MISTAKE by the idiot parking attendant, he wrote down the wrong license plate number..... ha ha
+1 for the good guys.....
.

Wow, that sucks... I'd be pretty pissed if the dealer scratched up a brand new car, hope they make it right for you!

So, sounds like the dealers can program the rectangular led's on the turbo's to turn on with the DRL's? That's good news, let me know how it turns out! I'll be sure to have my dealer do that once I get mine...

I hope this isn't a similar problem what BMW has had with their HPFP in the twin turbo Z4. A search of those forums and the 3 Series forums shows it was a real pain. BMW extended the warranty for the HPFP to 10 years.

The first sign of pump failure was the engine taking and extra few seconds to turn over on start-up. Sudden loss of power while driving and a buzzing sound from the rear.

The early 997.2 cars had high pressure fuel pump issues. This sounds like something similar. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Who knows e best way to have the two side doors prepped and painted? Is it normal to bake at 140 degrees with doors left on or is it better to remove and hang? They are doing the prices while doors are ON.
Have no clue about this process..
Should measurements equal factory after when I take a paint reader to the paint??
