Auto Start/Stop

When I stop at a light and engine shuts off for the start/stop function, occasionally i'll see a green "HOLD" in my speed cluster, most of the time when engine shuts off the "HOLD" sign would not even come on, does anyone know what this is about?

thanks
Mike

pretty sure that's the hill hold to keep you from rolling backwards in an incline

Hold is if you are on an incline and for saftry applies breaks so you don't drift back.
Sometimes if it needs activated it will sometimes not so much.

Auto stop/start is activated via button on center console but I'm sure you know this.
