Looking to Purchase 2011/2012 Cayenne

Hello everyone~
Been reading the forum for a while, but I wasn't it's target vehicle (future)owner untill now
Long story short, my wife is pregnant and she loves the new Cayenne in white. So I did some research, found out the 2012 is selling at or about 10% higher than the MSRP.So the question is, anybody has placed an order or purchased the new Cayenne recently? How's the pricing right now? Please feel free to comment or even suggest any dealers or sales that is worth to deal with.
Thank you very much~

If you are going to buy a dealer stock then expect to pay more. If you are patient you can negotiate a deal. I got $5K off a well optioned turbo that I ordered.

It all depends on where you are located, i'm in the northeast and i got 6% off the total MSRP of my vehicle.

Depends which model. For the Cayenne V6 in Southern Cali, expect to pay MSRP. For the Cayenne S, expect 4 - 5% off MSRP. I just ordered a 2012 Cayenne S for the Mrs. and got about 4.5% off.

The V8 might be worth it if you were going to add options that are standard in the V8.... figure in the discount ($3000 to $4000 off) and the $ difference between the V6 and V8 narrows a lot.

As far as sales / dealers. Cannot comment ATM, since this is our first Porsche experience. However, I can tell you to let the fingers do the walking and call around for best pricing. There are many Porsche dealerships around South Cali.

Dear all,
Thank you for your comments.
V10M, I do agree with you, when I was doing the research, plenty of CS are available. Since the V6 is VW sourced.... not saying its bad.. Maybe I will going for the CS instead .
