I order my first Porsche last year 10/2010, picked up on 4/2011, a long 6 months wait (almost cancel the order cause of the long wait).

Yep, I agree with the last line for sure. Been trying to achieve > 20mpg but I guess it's only if you're constantly on the highway.

I didn't know porsche offered any type of maintenance plan: 5/50k Porsche Scheduled maintenance plan

Is that something is offered only through your dealer and is only good at your dealer?

I think the price varies from dealer to dealer.
My dealer offer the 4/40 for $2600, 5/50k for $3100.

 

Five oil changes should run almost $1500 so what else does it cover? Brakes??

 

Do you have pictures of the escort controls inside? Also, are you having issues with ACC and/or LCA (if you have it, I forget if it's standard or not) setting off the passport?

Couple of dealers in NJ quoted me over $400 for an oil change. (10k miles / 1 year service)
