I posted this before and thanks for the responses. Wanted to get more input because I'm going to get one in the next month. Probably an S. I'll probably order one, but I'm wondering how much you paid under MSRP or at MSRP. The dealer told me I would need to pay MSRP. With Porsche, I'm not sure if this is true.

 

I got 4% off in the L.A. area.

 

Got $5k off in North Cal. Would have been a bigger percentage, but after I got the discount, I added more options.

 

I got 5% off MSRP. If you're dealer is charging you MSRP, I would find another dealer. It's not like this is a 1 of a kind vehicle with a 3 year waitlist!

 

$4500 off a s. Didn't matter what msrp is from so cal. My msrp ended up at $92 and should arrive within the month.

Wow nice. I kinda regretted not trying to get more. I thought $5K was amazing off of my turbo. I thought the Cayennes were hard to get and so dealerships wouldn't negotiate. I was taken back by the fact that there were dealerships willing to negotiate.

On the lot for me. I was actually offered a bit more on another Cayenne but it had some options I didn't want.

 

I custom ordered my turbo and didn't get much off MSRP, but I didn't expect much off either. The dealer did throw in some other concessions as well.

 

Custom ordered, 6 months wait. I received 8 1/2% off MSRP.

 

I got 4% off in the Boston area for a Cayenne S. Did not configure it but it was already pretty well loaded. I will be picking it up this Saturday

 

Mine was a custom ordered(Turbo).
I would have gotten more if it was off the lot. But since they only get a few order slots, 5% was the best they could do.

 

2500 over invoice (about 5% on a v6),

for V6, ANY discount is a good discount

for a V8, you need a minimal of like 5% off... they are not in demand nearly as much.
