Hey guys,

I just received new wheels/tires for my Cayenne S today. They are OEM 21 inch GTS wheels which I found on eBay a couple days ago. I tried fitting one front wheel onto the car, and realized that I need spacers since the wheel is in contact with the brake caliper.

Any advice on what kind of wheel spacers are best?

Porsche offers 17mm spacers I'm sure you can get at the dealer. Otherwise just see if H&R or Hubcentric has any made for the cayenne.

The overall diameter of the wheel looks much bigger than stock. What is the tire size of the 21" wheel?

 

They are 295 / 35 / 21 Michelins.

Update:

I decided to fit the GTS wheels in the rears of my Cayenne S. I didn't need any spacers for the rears at all. The calipers are clearing the inside of the wheels and the tires are flush with the rear wheel arch.



I then decided to remove my Carrera S' front H & R spacers (7mm) and try it on my Cayenne. The wheel bolt patterns are exactly the same in the Cayenne's and it did stick out a bit more than the rears. So I purchased a 5 mm spacer as I have a feeling that it'll be just enough to make the wheel clear the calipers and make the tires not stick out as much.

Looks great! 10x21 with a 50 offset, that is the same spec as SportEdition or Turbo II wheels. I would have thought they would fit without rubbing too...

Good job Vinny. The cars all use the 5 x 130 bolt circle. 7 and 15mm are most popular.

I do have both in stock from H&R if interested as well as the longer bolts. The 15mm are piloted for the wheel and the 7mm is not.

 

What Piloted means ?
