I am clearly on a brake mindset today.

I have a JBM S w/ 21 inch wheels. I want something different than the silver calipers. What do you think would look good. I'm leaning towards a blue setup like on the Corvette ZR1, my Wife is feeling green would be cool.

Give me some opinions and pics if you have any.

How about red? Looks sporty, most people will never know it didn't come like that (unlike green), does not appear fake (unlike painting them yellow), and no one will say they don't like it when reselling the truck. Both green and blue scream "fake" IMO. The only other color that would look good too is Black. Anything other than black, silver, red or yellow will prompt a question "Did you have those painted?". What are you gonna say? "Yes, I wanted them to look like the ones on a Chevy."

 

Tough call. Anything other than black, red or yellow is going to look perhaps too custom.

 

If it is for your wife, how about purple or pink?

That would be unique.

 

How bout a tropical turquoise?

Hot Barbie Pink is a fantastic color.

 

I'd do black or red. I just like the colors.

As for yellow, everytime I see a yellow break I then look closer to see if they are ceramic, and if not I chuckle.

Would stay away from the yellow unless you also get the ceramics to go with.

Yellow will probably get the most eye stares when driving at least mine do, or maybe it's just because of the massive discs....

 

If not PCCB but painted in yellow, it would look dirty easily.

green might be kewl but you would get bored really fast.
i would go with red and/or yellow for sure.

 

It's such a personal preference; if you like red, orange, yellow, blue, black, do it.
