Oil Change DIY

I assume the oil change service indicator comes up it's something that needs to be cleared by the dealer.

If I wanted to do the oil change myself, how could I clear the service indicator?

Anyone cons of doing this?

I change my oil and filter at home too.

You have to get the reminder cleared, or the car will yell at you. Telling you service is due.

you need to have the service light reset by the dealer, or someone with the computer capable of doing this.
I have changed my oil once on a previous Porsche and told my SA I did so, so please reset the light. He did this at no charge, but I have also heard that some dealers will charge 30 bucks or something. any charge for this task is ridiculous but oh well.
