Getting my 2012 CS Detailed

I thought I would start my own thread so here are the pics my new 2012 CS getting detailed. Knowing that I wanted to start out right, I told the dealer not to prep the exterior and sent it to my good friends over at autolavish.com. I am very lucky to have one of the top detailers in the nation in my back yard. So here we go

First the intial bath

then a test panel. This is for those who think it is crazy to detail a new car. Look at the 50/50 pic. Guess which side is untouched? Even though it had never been through a machine wash and I has washed it properly it still had hazing and marring issues. First step is Mezerna PO85RD

Will have more tomorrow as they finish up the final polish and then do final rinse with Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite Cleaner Glaze to get ready for the coat of wax.

Impressive detailing job! Can't wait to see rest of pics

You can definitely see the light surface scratches in the first pic, any idea what caused it? Mostly from cleaning the vehicle? What cleaning method did you use?

Well since I didnt immediately put a coat of wax of the car when I got I can also guess that from my gently wiping off car after getting out of the touchless car wash. Going forward I will be hand washing using a 2-3 bucket system with grit guards and using a foam gun.

Here is a couple more of the final polish. Looking forward to seeing what she looks like once the wax is on. Keep in mind these are cell phone pics so images are not the best.
