How many miles were on your car when delivered?
I picked up a 2012 Turbo today and was surprised that the car already had over 50 miles on it. Is that normal? What are others experiences? Thx.
this is concerning. i wonder if i can find out how many miles were on the car when they received it. they made me sign a paper saying there were only 10 miles on the car (when in actuality there were over 50). I questioned them and they had some explanation, so I signed it as part of the paperwork because I wanted to close the deal. But now I think the shop took the car out for a joy ride and didn't care about the "break in" period.
14 miles on mine.
I'm way picky about miles on a new car purchase, and have been on enough test drives to know what salesmen/buyers do to cars when they test drive them, especially high performance vehicles.
I would consider 50+ miles a used or demo car and the price would need to reflect that.

Most new "ordered" cars should have less than 15miles on them. The only exceptions would be cars on the lot or cars being sourced from other dealers inventories that require transportation.
At 50mi, I suspect they let a salesman take it home or another customer drive it before you picked it up. I would complain to the dealer mgt and PCNA.

I guess the question is...did you do a custom order or was it off the lot? I'm assuming the first. If so, do you know if it was delivered to another dealership first?
Mine had 21. When I asked why I was told that the mechanic takes the car out to make sure everything is working well. I found this to be very reasonable. I have a V6. I am guessing with the Turbo, there is more to check. I think you were wise to sign the papers and I would put that 51 miles behind me. Seriously, priorities. Don't let it spoil a fantastic car.

Besides where in Boston are they gonna be able to drive 6-10 miles, you can throw a rock from one end of the city to the other?
Yeah and never mind those little things jumping off em, they only make it go faster.
