Problems with Toll booth Speed Pass and heated windshield???

I think i'm having issues with my Speed Pass at the toll booths in my new cayenne turbo with the heated windshield elements. Anyone else experience this? thx.

Not sure if it is the heated portion but heard the thermally and noise insulated glass might interfere with some of these systems. Do you have that installed? I think you can get an external mount for it if that is a problem.

i do have that feature also. i'm going to try holding up the speed pass to the panoramic sunroof the next time I drive through the toll booth and see if it's any better.

thx.

Try the area next to the rear view mirror.

Not sure if it would work for you but I took my toll tag pass off because they charge according to license plate anyway in Texas and grab a pic of it as we drive through. I hate having extra things on the winshield.

fyi: worked much better by holding it up against the sunroof (even with privacy shade closed).

Aside from the toll booth pass issue, have you found the heated windshield to be useful?

can't really say yet because we haven't had any freezing rain or snow that have needed this yet. but i'm sure it will be useful during the first snow storm.

the lighting "effect" at night is a bit annoying, but you quickly forget about it... but i always feel the need to explain to passengers why their vision might seem affected. during the day you can't tell at all.

i will be able to share more after a snow storm... but for now, i'm ok with it and plan to keep it.
