I managed to strip one of the rear aluminum license plate screw attachment rivits. Has anyone tried to replace one of these rivits on the back lift gate? There are 6 rivits, but I only use 4, so I was hoping they can be removed and switched or replaced. Any input would be much appreicated.

It sounds like you could switch them, replace the rivet, or maybe use a bigger screw?
