Independent Service Shop in San Diego or OC?

Can anyone recommend an independent service shop in San Diego or Orange County? Thanks.

I'd try a local/regional forum for any recommendations.

. . . a second mortgage on your home. But, hey, mortgage rates are at an all time low.

2k+ (I paid upper/mid 1000 last year or 2 years ago). Was it worth it? Probably not but the fact that it was trouble-free for past 6~7 years justified it. Will I go back to a dealer for the next 20k service? Good question...

LOL lube job ...

I had mine changed in Boston, MA @10K miles and paid around $300 (thought it was way overpriced, but both Porsche dealerships are owned by the same company here so had no real choice)

Any good service areas in the DC area

I guess $500 was to much money to spend on the oil change. Anyone have any good recommendations for the Northern VA area.

Thanks

I used to charge $135 at my old shop. The dealer I worked at before that charged $164.95, and we got people complaining about that too.

i've done it for 60 bucks.
the rest goes toward your dealer trying to sleep with the receptionist.

Dang! Where do you get your oil? My cost on parts came out to about $75, with heavy discounts on everything.

what is also very very funny about my local canadian dealers is that
they don t follow porsche recommendation for the v6
which calls for 5w30 (c30 porsche or VW equivalent)
they only carry what is reommanded for cayenne S and turbo

no big deal but please do not do your oil changes at the dealer

you ll get lubed all the way !
