Good write-up find.
There's always something for everyone.
I like the 911's as well as the panacea and cayenne. Will probably add the Macon to the garage and who knows maybe the new suv Lamborghini coming out.
All great cars

Sounds like the same 'ol story over at Apple many many moons ago. When they were struggling to survive, they got financial help from Apple enemy No.1 Mr. Gates. Then Internet Explorer and I believe a trial version of MS Office had to be shipped with every Apple Computer. The die-hard Apple purists screamed blasphemy. But what they don't recognize is that it is sink-or-swim in the biz world, and to keep pumping out those white computers, compromises (they'd call it "selling out") need to be made. Otherwise, there will no longer be your beloved company to make those things you cherish so much.
And look where Apple is now....

This guy should stick to a Lambo or Ferrari, those guys would never make a 4-seater... Oh wait

I'll admit that I was initially put off by Porsche's decision to build the first gen Cayenne and the Panamera and while I still think the Panamera is god awful ugly, I now would absolutely put both a Cayenne and a 911 in my garage. Plus if the sale of the SUV's and sedans mean continued improvement in the sports cars as well as unique, specialized versions (GT2RS?!?!) then more power to Porsche.
Finally, if you don't like what the brand is doing... don't buy their products.

They talk about something they do NOT know/understand. They just are very EGO to secure their own prestige position on a road in Germany.
PORSCHE AG does not manufacture best designed cars. Folks south of their border do in Italy...
But, PORSCHE cars DRIVE like no other. And that's the reason to tolerate some design short comings of these cars.
...very FEW PORSCHE car drivers really experienced their car potentials beyond 20% in countries other, than Germany. And even in Germany NOT every p-car driver really experienced it's car potentials beyond 70%...
Just ignore them.
