cayenne hybrid

Does anyone have any insight for the cayenne hybrid? I can't seem to find any discussion, and I have been thinking about getting one.

We have 2011 as the "family car". What would you like to know?

What make tou decide to get one? The hybrid seems very rare in terms of popularity. I like how porsche drive, especially this one with a supercharged, and as well as the hybrid technology.

I sold my 911, thinking to trade in my cayenne for a cayenne hybrid. Not sure if this is the right move. Also thinking about just get a prius.

I had ordered 1 18 months before they were released. Originally it was for me, but I could wait any longer, and bought myself a Range Rover instead. So I had it configured for my wife. I was originally interested b/c it was going to drive like a Porsche, but get decent mileage for a performance SUV. It's a great ride, though it's a little sluggish for my liking. My wife loves it, she get close to 30mpg on the highway and I do like driving it. Im about to take delivery on a gas powered S in a few weeks. It's currently on vessel on its way to the US. Btw, I had a current gen Prius. Hated it. It was a very numb and delayed driving experience. Great on mileage though

Local dealers seems to have abundant inventory of hybrids, and they have some lease deals going for them.

In the UK the Hybrid seems to be the main seller by a long way. Possibly because of the price of petrol, sorry, Gas here.

I was told that the S and Turbo are restricted in the UK with a very long wait time as they tend to go abroad and Hybrid dominates UK sales. Drove one and its still a great car. I would have it over an S or a Diesel but not the Turbo.

If you drive a Porsche then you know the answer.... Why a Prius if you can drive around a new fuel efficient Porsche truck!

Currently have about 8K miles on my '12 Hybrid. Of course no problems and as it gets broken in, mileage keeps getting better. Just drove from our vacation place in Graeagle, CA to Reno and back... up, down and all around +80 mph at times.... Got 26.9 mpg for the 120 mi. round trip as we farted around in Reno some... Just a data pt.
