20k service... what's the point?

I took a look and the maintenance is all checks. Is there a point in this?

Anybody bring it in? Quotes?

i'm coming up on 20k and PCM shows that i'm only due for an oil change. Are you sure about this 20k service?

yea the oil change is separate. there's a 20k service too

you're right. I just checked. Going to call my dealer....why dont you do the same and we can compare notes, price, etc.

EDIT: Spoke to my dealer. Its just an oil change and a vehicle "look-over"

Haven't gotten a chance to do it yet. Thinking about just skipping it over and just doing the oil change when it comes up.

Does anyone know if warranty is voided if you skip these "look over" maintenance checks? I mean seriously.. When you bring in your car for a warranty item they probably do all these checks anyways.

Did they quote you a price?
