Today I started car and the auto start/auto stop error poped out. A few seconds after that a sudden check engine light poped out. I hope it is nothing serious


Any of you guys had the same issue or can give a hint !?

 

I have never had such an error message,just sometimes a crossed yellow(instead of green)indicator "A"
It is what you get when you deactivate the auto start/stop function
It sometimes turns itself off if you are also draining the battery too much in other ways:"Ac,seat ventilation,music..."

If it stays solid you can drive it in to Porsche, if it a blinking check engine light they recommend towing it in. (call your dealer to be sure) I towed mine in. My engine light was blinking nd the car bucked/vibrated heavy as I accelerated. I had a faulty fuel injector just out of warranty by 6 months on the older generation 08. Towing is supposed to be free if you are under warranty.

 

I took my car for diagnosis, the scanner threw a p0700 code which is a transmission error ( Control for additional hydraulic pump for transmisioon oil feedback signal too low)

I'll be taking it to the dealer tomorrow

I hope its a sensor only nothing serious

took the car to the dealer ship waiting for their feedback

 

I had the exact same problem in the exact same sequence couple of weeks back.

Ayways, drove it straight to the dealer. They said it was an electronic control unit to be replaced. Got the car back in 2 days and they performed the headlight recall during same visit.

Nothing to be worried about
