Exclamation Had Fuel Tank Sensor Changed

Hello,

Had my dealer replace one of the fuel tank sensors after it malfunctioned. It was covered under warranty. The car drove fine all the way back to home. I tried to start the engine after a while but it wouldn't. And right after the ignition stops, fuel starts spilling out of the fuel tank.

Any thoughts on what could be causing all this?

Best,
Moss

Sorry to hear about your problem. But what prompt the replacement in the first place? Did you get an error on the MFD?

I got a fuel sensor malfunction error on the MFD after filling up once, but it went away after a while and hasn't came back. Wondering if it's something to be concerned about.

The check engine light came up a few times between fill-ups. It showed in the vehicle computer history that it was caused by one fuel tank sensor malfunction. That's what prompted the replacement.

Thumbs up Problem Solved

A hose that directs fuel from the tank to the engine had a broken plastic clipse. The hose is located under the rear right passenger seat. The clipse has been replaced and the car now runs perfectly!
