That is great looking machine, love the wheel choice. I am curious on what kind of mileage you will get, keep us posted.

hagel is infamous around these parts
Thanks, she's really coming together... a few more cosmetic updates, and then more focus on the performance (although not much is available in the States yet).

Thanks
The center caps are from the OEM wheels, and were painted by the tire shop that installed the wheels. The color match is not perfect, but close enough...

I took a 400 mile road trip this past week, 95% highway, and averaged ~31 (says the PCM system). Around town I'm getting closer to the low to mid-twenties. It's still in the "break in" period, so I've heard that it may improve.

The blackened badging is a really nice touch!

The PCM lies about MPG by the way. Mine always overestimates my true MPG.

Has anyone towed a large load with one of these yet? I am considering a CD but Turbo top end is breath taking! No only do I autocross mine but I take it off road.

Still towing MPG might be 12.1 MPG with a range of only 240 miles. I am thinking about it.

On steep hills the heat (radiator) from the transmission creeping into the engine drives me often to shutting off the A/C and slowing down to 22 MPH. I would like to be able to tow up hill at 70 MPH although I don't need to go that fast all of the time.

Yeah, I know PCM isn't always correct when it comes to MPG, but I haven't taken the time to do the math myself... That said I've had it almost a month, driven it more then 1,500 miles, and have only filled up twice (currently have a third of a tank).

I had a prior gen CT, and the power is no comparison, although the Diesel is no slouch. Also my CT never got more the 15 MPG (w/out towing).

I haven't towed with it yet, but plan to tow our boat every now and again.

What tires were on it when you took delivery, and what do you have now?

My CD arrives end November, I ordered it with the 19's.

I knew I wanted to put after market wheels on the car, so I purchased it with the factory 18s. The new wheels are 22" Victor Equipment Innsbruck in satin black.

I wish I had a "do-over" on wheels and tires. I ordered my CD with the 19" Design wheels and summer tires. I live in Canada so I knew i would be getting winter tires. In retrospect, I what I should have done is order the stock 18's with Winter or all season, and then buy 20" or 21" aftermarkets for summer. The $2,700 upgrade price for the 19" rims is pretty high so I would save that and apply that amount to aftermarkets. Live and learn...Next time I'll know better.
