GTS or turbo

Has anyone driven both the CTT and the 2013 CGTS ? If so can you comment on drive and fun factor?

Driven both. IMO, the only thing the GTS does better than the Turbo is sound better and cost a whole lot less. The Turbo (when optioned properly) is far quicker, handles just as well and did I mention how much more power it makes? The GTS is about as much SUV as any reasonable person could ever want and use (until you drive a turbo) at a far cheaper price point. BTW - am I the only one who thinks that a nearly $100,000 SUV still isn't cheap?

I would assume rarely will you be driving alone to toss it around a bit so the most fun your going to have is pressing the go pedal....thus the turbo.

Had an early 2003-4 cayenne turbo with 450HP and that was quite a suv for its time.. Just bought a 13CTT. Driven a demo GTS.
Sound is ok in GTS , but nothing like 911 with sport exhaust. Turbo has more engine growl than exhaust note, but its ok.
Turbo with PDCC and PTV is awesome. And yes, the power is just not to be believed. Comfort damper settings allow turbo to be very comfy over bumpy roads, and very firm when in sport. Quite a bonus.
Again as said, no comparison when it comes to raw power. Very very little turbo lag in CTT, and on highway or spirited curvies, the CTT will handle and stay with most anything out there.

I like the GTS, but I may be biased. Turbo is amazing since it has tons of torque, but the GTS has a special aura, looks sportier inside and out and sounds fantastic, its no slouch an costs less too.

Except for the power, the GTS is better IMO, and this is the choice I made a few years back. To equip a turbo with all the other stuff that comes standard on the GTS is, in typical Porsche fashion, major $$$$. There is also just something bad-*** about the GTS. To me, The GTS hits the sweet spot in the line-up. But if you just want the power then you just want the power.

If you have some kind of budget, I think the GTS is a better value considering all you get. If cost is no object, then by all means, get the turbo and equip it with all the other goodies that the GTS has. Do not however, get a "stripped" down turbo over a loaded up GTS for the same money.

Test drove a '13 GTS a few months ago
Looks,feels,shifts and sounds great
Quite lively off the line as well and nice driving experience
However, since most driving around here is strait lines...the novelty wore off quickly when accelerating,as I kept waiting for the boost to arrive

Just saw a GTS for the first time at the Dealer while waiting for an oil change.
I was a little underwhelmed. I am a big fan of the Cayenne body kit and ordered it on my CT, so the looks did not pop out at me. The Alcantera seats are very nice, but other than the cost savings, and the nice GTS logo on the back, I was not enticed.
