Has anyone done a before and after dyno on the GIAC tune?

To the GIAC tune owners for the Turbo:

1. Did any of you guys get a before and after dyno? And on what octane?

2. Any vbox numbers before and after?

3. Did fuel economy take a major hit?

4. If I were to get an exhaust and the IPD down the line, would I need a retune?

Looking forward to hearing your comments...

Yeah, did a dyno after getting the GIAC tune
On 93 octane
Though dyno #s depend on the ability of the operator...
There are more factors involved in power increase, but max boost went up to 1.1 1.2 bars and it felt more willing and able
Then a few months later I had IPD plenum and Agency Power diverter valves installed, and felt like it was equal to the power increase i got from the Giac tune and was told the tune would react accordingly to these new upgrades and only be more effective

Thanks for the reply.

When you did this dyno, was this tune only?

Most welcome
Tune was done a few months ago
It was with only with Giac tune
Giac includes a flashloader you plug into OBDI to allow you to go back and forth between tune and no tune, which is what was done on this graph

I'm considering this for my CT. Has anyone done this to a Non-US spec CT? is it compatible?

Contact GIAC,they will be able to answer you
Imho, the tune is able to react accordingly to the specs of your car..which is why the IPD plenum and Agency Power diverter valves were recommended to me,as they would help enhance the effectiveness of the tune
Just what a Champion Porsche rep told me
I notice as much of a difference from the GIAc tune than from the Plenum/valves..so figure about at least 600hp
