I'm interested in buying the S and the Xenon headlights. The description says:

"Bi-Xenon headlights with automatic dynamic control; Headlight cleaning system; H7 auxiliary main-beam headlights;"

What does the H7 part refer to? Also this is my first Porsche. I think that their options are very pricey, or am I wrong? Any worthwhile options to get?

Can anyone recommend an after-market xenon installer in the SF Bay area?

 

the only bulb i can think of on xenon optioned cars that is a regualr halogen bulb is the cornering light. when you turn left or right theres a side beam that turns on until you point the wheel striaght again. im sure u can convert it to aftermarket hids but ur going to have to drill the back of the headlight to run the wires and hide the ballast in the fender somewhere. if the cornering halogen bothers you that much i would just buy a blue tinted or led bulb for it, as its never really on for longer than a few seconds at a time
