E350. This was last year, and seems to be the norm according to the MB forum. You can probably get even better deal now since the facelift is coming out in a few months.

Could you PM me the dealer? I'm looking currently and was only offered 5% up here in NorCal.

How aggressive have people been when negotiating? Are dealers sticking to their guns and not even engaging?

I am using a car brokerage service, Cartelligent, to do most of the work. It started out as looking for a MY2013 CTT. Unfortunately there were no matches to my criteria. We are now looking into a custom build. So far he has come back with $8k off of the CTT I spec'd out, but they can't promise me an allocation to get the car before the end of year. For business reasons I need to have the car in service before end of year.

Thanks for your experiences in advance.
If you're ordering in advance, why not pickup in Europe (European Delivery), then have it sent back to dealer. Dealer pays $3K for it (you pay $0) but the purchase doesn't count against his allocation so whatever he makes is over an above (less the $3K). I'd suggest 7% depending on the $ amount of the car and settle for 5 or 6%.

Picked up a 2014 GTS last week for 5% off msrp but for full disclosure, this was the 5th Porsche I have bought from the dealer. I also traded in my 2009 GTS which held value very well over the past 4.5 years which was an added bonus.

As much as I would like to do the European Delivery, it is not possible at this time. It definitely sounds like an awesome experience from what I have been reading from Pepper!

In the end I got 6% off MSRP by going through Cartelligent. Other dealers in the SF Bay are were offering a max of 3% and some none at all. The latter didn't even really give me the time of day.

If you are in the Bay Area, I have had good price flexibility and very good service with Fremont Porsche (Viraj and Dave - sales mgr).

As a contrast, wife picked up a Mercedes for literally 20% off sticker without much haggling, and there were at least 30 to choose from.
Same for my friend, who got his benz 10k off sticker and they absorbed tax. It was like 16k off... Insane! While I went a Porsche dealership and got a very respectable 7.7% of my CTT yet still feeling like I lost out.

I'm in the process of shopping for a Cayenne Diesel in So Cal. What kind or discounts are people getting? I've read about 5% off of MSRP?
Thanks!

I think the best deal you can get is if you are keen on getting a hybrid. Those are not moving. The next one may be the Cayenne with the base V6.

I got 4% off after light negotiation on my CD. In my opinion, the Diesel is the one that dealers are having a tough time keeping inventory. It is within the "affordable" price range if you are careful with the packages and options, and there is no other engine that gives you a good balance between performance and mpg.

Also, in my experience, you just have to order if you want the adaptive cruise control. I am not sure why dealers don't order it for their own inventory. I use it a lot.

A lot depends on the model. In our area Diesel & S models are being discounted a lot less than the Turbos & Hybrids. Not sure about the 6 cylinders.

If you want the best deals I would try to find a 2013 model. I got 10% off my 2013 GTS!
