Seems pretty well packaged for me. However, I have never heard of non-Bose in a 958.
Does it have stock wheels? If your dealership allows, you might want to upgrade/replace the wheels with another Panamera or Cayenne at the dealer.

It has the Nav system so that means it has a few extra speakers and a bit more power over the base system.
I'm not an audio freak, but I appreciate good sound and have spent lots of money customizing systems in the past.
Give my past history, I did not upgrade the stereo in mine because I know for the price I can improve the base system if I so desired. It would be a better overall system than the Bose too.
So I went with the base system + Nav with the belief that I would upgrade it after the fact myself. Surprisingly, however, I find the system to be pretty decent. That's not to say I couldn't do better or that there is no difference with the more expensive options, just that it is much better than I expected.
I suggest you take a sample of your music and listen to it to see if it works for you or not.

Turbo wasn't as good of a deal as i had hoped. Plus that dealership offered me much less for the trade-in.
For Amps its a bit more complicated since you can't change the HU, but most of the big players have units that take care of the heavy lifting and from there its just adding Amps and running cable as usual.
Anything new coming with the '14's that's worth holding out for?
Also, I'm also losing my 14 way seats. I do enjoy the lumbar support but I assume/hope I'll forget about it after a few month. Are the 8 way sufficient?
Lastly, I'm also losing PASM and PTV on top of my 6sp manual
. Will I survive???

Speakers are a straight swap (unless you are getting some that need more power).

I found that while the midrange and bass on the +navi speakers were pretty good, the highs are rather.. harsh. It didn't bother me very much initially, but I wouldn't mind improving things if I can :P
I haven't looked into specifics since I've been satisfied and I haven't built a system reusing a MFG's HU. My knowledge on the subject is based on information from the audio installers that taught me how to build systems.
As to your sound, is loudness turned on? Initially I thought the system sounded like crap and I was going to go straight to my audio guy for opinions, but then I found that loudness was turned on and turning it off changed the dynamics entirely. Its still far from the greatest system in the world, but its good enough that my money and effort are going to other things.

Turned Loudness off after the first day.. it was only useful for when you're driving at high speeds and can't really hear anything anyway
I'm probably just spoiled by the Mark Levinson system I had on my Lexus before I got the Cayenne. Slightly regretting not getting the Bose system, but the general consensus seems to be that the Bose isn't really worth it and the Burmeister's way too expensive for me

I think you're giving up too much.
The seats, audio, PTV and PDCC are so critical to me in this truck.
The 14 way is that much better then the 8 way. There is no comparison.
The audio is relative depending how discerning your audiophile ears are. I think the difference between the CDR and Bose is noticeable. I think the jump from Bose to Burm is only noticeable and appreciated if you are a audiophile that can actually hear the sound stage differences. Not many can.
PTV and PDCC make this truck for me. It really makes this truck the best handling and best driving truck in the segment.

This car will be my wife's daily in a year or so. Until then, I'm hoping I can live with it. Not idea, but a nicely optioned cayenne for her IMO.
While she might not need a turbo, why would you not want your significant other to have as many driving aids as possible?

PDCC,PASM are there for a reason and extremely effective and improve the safe handling of the car
..Whether you drive slow or fast
Ps:I would go for the turbo
Gbx, I saw a few 2011certified turbos in auto trader in the mid 80k range. I think they can still be negotiated down further. How much did the dealer you went to want for the CTT if you don't mind me asking?
