I love our CTTS, but I think it could sound better, so I'm going to change the exhaust. Any suggestions? I'm thinking techart?

I want something load, but not unbearable.

Any previous experience greatly appreciated, cheers.

the techart exhaust is just as expensive as the akro. i cant remember the exact amount it was but retail on the exhaust is something like $6-7k and that does not include the signature techart tips. the tips must be purchased seperately and those retail for $1400-1500.

 

I have Techart on my 958 TT and I am very pleased with it. It sounds amazing - it is loud outside but not inside the car, I got couple of times calls from friends in traffic when I passed them.

I have also the tips from them - they look fabulous. Here is a video I made - just start-up and easy revving 3k maximum.

When is cold in the morning is wild!

I love the Teachart look and sound, but I think its too pricey, same as the Akrapovic. Thats why I went with meisterschaft GTS exhaust for my CS '13. But I won't be receive it in about 8 weeks.

 

If I wanted a near OEM sound with a bit more growl, I would do AKRA. The build quality is on par with OEM or even better.

If I wanted that monster, beast of a sound that might turn heads at wide open throttle, the Tubi gets my vote.

 

The OEM exhaust can not be compared with the Akrapovic at all. It's really a beauty and sound can be amplified by using the remote device to open further flaps. Love the CF tips too.
