Side view mirror cover removal
i searched through all the forum and i couldn't find any straight answer, do you have any sugestion? i don't want to break anything or damage the paint. many thanks
Hi Carlos,
I also have a 2013 C-GTS. To open the mirror you can stick your finger behind the mirror and lift it out. It will be tied but it will pop out. I've been trying to change the inside rear view mirror light to LED and I have not figuring out how to change that light yet. BV

My body shop buddy just did our exterior mirror bulbs and yes, you have to remove the mirror first, then you can take the exterior cover off from there...once the exterior cover is done, then the bulb is easily accessed. Hope that helps...
thank you both i'll try to do it and post back.
and i also found how to take out the rear view mirror cover to change the bulbs,
"The mirror covers open toward the middle of the car. Open it up. I used a very flat screwdriver blade to pry into the middle of the plastic with the mirror attached to it.
There are two plastic tabs on the plastic that the mirror is attached to, they are very stiff and could easily break so be patient.
Push the plastic toward the center of the car until the tabs are out, then the piece with the mirror attached will come out.
Take the old bulbs out and put the new LEDS in with the light facing outboard from the center of the mirror.
It (eventually) goes back in the same way it came out. If it seems like the lights don't work once you put them in they are on a timer; close the door and start the car to see if they work before you put the mirror back on.
Enjoy!"
i found it in another forum, i'm not taking any credit for, i'm just sharing what i found
