2014 Cayenne GTS: Which wheels to order?

I am in the process of building out my 2014 Cayenne GTS and I can't decide on which wheels to order. My final three exterior color choices are White, Dark Blue, and Meteor Gray. I like both the standard 20" RS Spyders and the 21" Sport Edition wheels. The RS Spyders would free up some $$$ for other options, but I'm concerned it might not fill-up the wheel wells enough. It looks good on the car when the GTS is in the lowest ride height setting though. For the 21" Sport Editions, I definitely like the look but do not want them painted in black, cause it loses the definition of the wheel. I looked into body colored Sport Editions, and they look pretty unique...I've attached some pictures for reference of my top 5 choices...please vote and chime in on your opinions. Thanks in advance!

Get the one you like the most, but if it were my money I would get a white or Red, I have a silver GTS and regret every day the understated look.
Regarding the wheels,IMO only the Turbo IIs enhances the sporty character of the GTS, they look more agressive than the SportEdition.

Yeah, I hear you galion. I have a silver Diesel right now, but I find myself liking other colors better. White is a great color and really enhances the sporty character of the car (especially with all of the contrasting black accents), but Blue and Gray also give the car a nice, elegant look.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys....let's keep those votes and opinions coming!

The black wheels ($2650) go best with the GTS, I think - but I also dislike black wheels for the reason you mentioned. I think the second best choice are the Turbo II's, which I think look awesome for a factory wheel.

My choice ended being to order the standard wheel ($0), which I really dislike, and buy some aftermarket 22" wheels which will go on the car at zero miles.

By the time you end up buying factory painted wheels, you could spend a little more and get much nicer aftermarket wheels, imo.

I have a '13 Carmine Red GTS with 21" Sport Edition Wheels painted in Black. I never get bored of that color combo!

Do not take body colored wheels because they look cheesy and I'm sure you will get bored of them (if red, blue, or anything other than black).

At the end of the day, its your car and your choice

Good luck

the 20RS would be my choice, esp w meteor grey because the wheels are a great match. i got a blue one and love the color, but wouldnt necessarily recommend a black interior with it. if inside is black, would go meteor grey, which is another great color, along with the 20s. beautiful.

The RS Spyders are indeed a good match for Meteor Gray, but I feel like it blends in too much with the paint. At least the 21" sport editions have a silver edge around the rim to break it up a bit. Congrats on the blue...it's definitely a looker when it's clean

I think the Turbo II's design is a bit old but it's still my first choice. My second would be the painted Sport Editions. My third choice would be to get the most inexpensive wheels possible and buy some aftermarkets. There are some beautiful wheels available these days.

The best looking wheel for the Cayenne: 21" Sport Editions. I vote Meteor Gray with body color matched Sport Editions.

21" Sport editions all the way. Personally I hate the turbo II's. That wheel design does not fit a 21" wheel, IMO. It looks very chunky and heavy, which is ironic considering that this is an SUV. The 20" RS Spyders and 21" Sport Editions are more delicate and more elegant, and do not compromise the "sportiness" of the Cayenne's look at all. Notice most press cars are on one of these two choices.

I would have loved the Sport Editions, but the cost made me pause and the potholes here reminded me that large wheels and tires are easily bent...a fact proven by my BMW.

I have black sport editions and love them but I also have PCCB's.
I could not imagine having the sport editions with the regular brakes.
The dust and amount of time to clean them would make me crazy!

I love my sport edition wheels but my new hobby is cleaning them every time I drive.
I sit in the garage on a soft pad and clean away......................
