Do these aftermarket pads have the same pedal feel and stopping power as the oem ones?

I am still not sure if the stopping power is the same or slightly decreased. It is more difficult to comment now since I switched to the winter wheels and tires and they feel different in every way. I am just so glad to be cleaning the wheels so much less.

Ceramic pads are available for the base and for the Diesel, it's just that not all retailers carry them. Looks like these fronts may work, rears here.

Unfortunately, you speak the truth. I have been told (indie tech) that the ceramic pads are harder and produce less dust, but wear the crap out of the rotors. Interested to see how these work out long term for the OP.

I just purchased my first Porsche, Cayenne, and yes the break dust is brutal. Is the conversion to PCCB really that expensive?

Suncoast has them for $18.5k.

Otherwise, its about $8800 option on a new vehicle order, above the standard brakes on Porsche's website.

I'll give them a call. Perhaps the diesels Cayenne is new enought that they don't have it listed separately in their database

The brake dust is killer on stock pads! Will Sonax dissolve ceramic dust as it does normal ones?

Reviving this thread to ask whether anyone who switched to ceramic pads has experienced faster rotor wear. I would like a low dust solution, but given the cost of replacing rotors vs pads I wouldn't want that at the cost of new rotors every 20k miles.

I decided to order ceramic brake pads for the red CTT brakes to cut down on the brake dust. I did the same with my SL500 a few years back which worked really well.
Tire Rack had pads from "Centric" and I had my mechanic put them on a week ago. The results are about an 80-90% reduction in brake dust. I am a happy rider. I was told that there might be a small reduction in braking power but I can't say I notice it yet.

Any new update on your pads? Will the Centric pads also fit a 958 GTS?

I'm real tired of the dust. Thanks.

I feel your pain. It has been a longer time since I had the original pads on and I can't say for sure if there is a reduced braking result or not. I am guessing that the braking power is a little decreased but I am really happy with the minimal brake dust.
I don't know about the compatibility for GTS but you can go on tire rack and see which Centric Ceramics fit yours. I think this is the one I got:

Is it a simple swap or are there complications? Thinking of just doing it myself.

My mechanic who owns a GTS did them and it seemed straight forward. I think they accidentally broke a wear sensor on one so be careful with that.
