You know that VW owns Porsche, right?

Probably a compatible ATF from a central parts logistics center. It's not like Porsche refines it's own ATF Fluid.

I wanted to post a new thread about this but I found this one.

I would just like to confirm whether this is indeed true.

Is the PORSCHE ATF FLUID (95830054000) the exact same product as VW/AUDI ATF FLUID (G055540A2)?

If this is indeed true, this is a quite a mark-up just because you own a Porsche. And to do the Auto trans flush correctly, you will need 10 liters! So you can pay $750, or you can pay $250 for the same product.

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...d/95830054000/ (~$75)
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...ter/g055540a2/ (~$25)

Seems like it is not only dealerships doing it but also 3rd party European parts seller.

The funnier thing (from the description): "This fluid is a specially mixed formula for Porsche Tiptronic transmissions."
