use 0w 40 on cayenne v6??

As long as you have it documented the dealer used a non recommended oil, it is on thed ealer not you. Like gnat said should be fine.

I was in the same situation when I traded my Mercedes. Had a couple cases of Mobil 1 that met the 229.51 spec (Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5w40). It was formulated to for Mercedes then-extended oil change cycle. Mercedes still specs it for their clean diesels, but the Porsche C30 spec is clear about using 5W30. So I sold the Mobil 1 and now get Pennzoil Ultra Euro L 5W30 delivered every 4 months by Amazon. Costs less this way too, about $6.70/qt.
