Getting rid of turbo lag

I love my wife's 14' CTT, but I can't get over the turbo lag. Very annoying when I stomp on it and I can count in my head the seconds (it seems) before I take off. In your opinion, what is the best way to mitigate this annoyance?

bellemarc is infamous around these parts

I have a 2014 CTT with GIAC tune, and no lag. Power is immediate !!!
